National Female Pretech Training

TechTown Koftown
TechTown Koftown is an initiative focused on transforming Koforidua into a thriving tech-enabled city. The project empowers local residents by providing digital skills training, fostering innovation, and building a strong community of tech professionals and entrepreneurs.
TechTown Koftown is proudly supported by Fondation Botnar. Their dedication to empowering youth and advancing digital innovation through the 'Our City Initiative' has been instrumental in driving this project forward. With their partnership, we deliver impactful digital skills training, resources, and mentorship, helping local residents and young people in Koforidua build successful careers and businesses in technology.

Female Empowerment and Livelihood Initiative (FELI)
This project empowers young women aged 18-35 by providing digital skills training in areas such as videography and photography. The initiative aims to enhance their employability and support them in starting their own businesses.
The initiative also aims to empower women in MSMEs by providing them with entrepreneurial and digital skills, enabling them to grow and expand their businesses.
Our partners, GIZ and the Digital Transformation Center (DTC), played a crucial role in implementing this project. Their support and collaboration enabled us to deliver high-quality training, resources, and mentorship to empower young women and MSMEs in the community.
This project was implemented in Suhum, Obomeng, Abetifi and Kibi, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Pathway to Sustainable Employment (PaSE)
The Pathway to Sustainable Employment (PaSE) project was designed to empower young individuals and graduates by equipping them with in-demand digital skills, including photography, videography, web and mobile app development, and digital commerce. The program aimed to enhance participants' employability and support aspiring entrepreneurs through a dedicated incubation program, enabling them to launch and grow their own businesses in the digital economy.
The PaSE project was a nationwide initiative by Ghana Tech Labs, sponsored by the Mastercard Foundation. Eastern Tech Hub served as the implementing partner for the Eastern Region, delivering digital skills training and entrepreneurship support to empower youth and graduates for sustainable employment and business creation.

Digital Access for Rural Empowerment
The DARE (Digital Access for Rural Empowerment) program is a two-year initiative aimed at empowering financially disadvantaged rural youth in Ghana, particularly young women and single mothers, by leveraging digital technologies, providing training in digital entrepreneurship, and supporting the creation of startups.
This project is by UGBS and HapaSpace in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.

National Pre-tech Training Program
This project, led by Soronko Academy in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, focused on equipping young females with essential digital skills to bridge the gender gap in technology. Through targeted training and mentorship, the initiative aimed to empower women to pursue careers in tech and increase female representation in the digital sector.

Forum CIV
The Forum CIV project was an entrepreneurship training initiative aimed at empowering participants with practical business skills, innovative thinking, and digital tools to launch and grow their own ventures. Through interactive workshops and mentorship, trainees learned essential concepts in business development, marketing, and financial management to foster sustainable entrepreneurship and community impact.
